Pathways Preschool is not your typical preschool. Pathways Preschool’s environment has been described as having a warm and calm feeling. Pathways Preschool is a private school inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and is family-owned, and directed by, Dr. Rosalind Schoppet. In addition, Pathways has an amazing staff and wonderful parents and students who are supportive and kind.

Pathways Preschool is seeking a responsible, capable, motivated, dependable, friendly, and caring preschool assistant teacher to join our team. As a preschool assistant teacher at Pathways Preschool, you will become a valuable member of our family, be treated with respect, and be given the support needed for success.

We believe in growing and developing our team professionally and doing what is best for the child. We seek to provide all children with a safe, secure, loving, and caring environment while socializing and engaging in their play and activities.

Pay Range is $15.50-17/hour.

Requirements:

Fingerprint Clearance Card and Criminal Background Check.
High School Diploma.
Experience Preferred but not Required.

Preschool Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the teacher to ensure safety and care for each child's individual needs.
Comply with school and licensing regulations.
Ensure the school environment is safe and clean.
Comply with licensing regulations and school policies.
Utilize our school-wide app system to post pictures and communicate with parents regularly.
Change diapers and clothing as needed.
Engage with children by reading and playing with them.
